North Cheshire Riders route created by Laureen. The ride starts from the Middlewood Way car park, this is accessed from Adlington Road beside the Dog and Partridge SK10 5JX on the B5090 through Bollington. Don`t use this on a weekend or Wednesdays as it is small and very busy with walkers. The alternative is a little further along the B5090, this is busy weekdays but clear at weekends.For the Anticlockwise Ride follow Markers 1 to 10 and for clockwise 11 to 17. Anticlockwise: 1. Leave the car park, return to the B5090 and turn left.

2. Keep straight ahead following the Pott Shrigley signs until you reach Pott Shrigley after half a mile.

3. At the church turn left on Bakestone Dale Lane.

4. About a mile along this road turn left on a signed bridleway (Pott Shrigley Br19).

5. This curves round to the left around a fenced off old quarry.

6. At the top of the hill with fantastic views go through a gate by the fenced off quarry downhill to a walled track (Pott Shrigley Br3).

7. Cross this into a walled track straight ahead to a road.

8. Turn right on this road. You will ride parallel to the Middlewood way passing a locked access point.

9. Just after crossing the Way on a bridge turn right and at a pub, cross the Way and down the access ramp.

10. Ride south along the Way to your parking spot.

Clockwise: 1. Go North on the Middlewood way to a picnic area.

15. Ride up the hill bearing right through gates along a grass path skirting an old fenced off quarry.
